7NEWS Perth Presenters Lacing Up for Chevron City to Surf

Seven West Media WA has marked its third consecutive year as a major media partner for Chevron City to Surf for genU. The annual event, happening on August 30th, brings together thousands of West Australians from all walks of life to support people living with disability and disadvantage.

This year's event will see several presenters from 7NEWS Perth participate in the four-kilometre run or walk. Angela Tsun will be joined by her daughters Mimi and Zoe, while Ryan Daniels will tackle the course alongside his wife Kelly and their two children, Avery and William. The atmosphere is always fantastic at Chevron City to Surf for genU, with participants of all ages and abilities coming together to make a difference.

Seven West Media Chief Executive Officer Maryna Fewster highlighted the significance of the event, saying it's much more than just a fun day out. 'It's an event that brings the community together with a shared purpose,' she explained. 7NEWS Perth Director Christien De Garis added that the team is passionate about connecting with the community and supporting such an important cause.
