$973 Flooring Fraud: Bronx Man at Large After Home Depot Scam
A 20-year-old Bronx man has evaded capture after making fraudulent transactions at The Home Depot in Stafford, authorities announced on August 4.
The suspect, Joseph Diaz-Herra, allegedly used a person's credit card information to purchase $973 worth of assorted flooring products from the hardware store. He manually entered the card details to complete the purchases.
Diaz-Herra is also accused of knowingly exhibiting a false government-issued driver's license or other identification and intent to commit credit card fraud, among other charges.
