AAMU Alumna Organizes Bulldogs Takeover Atlanta Ahead of MEAC/SWAC Challenge

Brandon Gilmore, a 2013 graduate of Alabama A&M University (AAMU), is expecting a big turnout from Bulldog Nation at the upcoming MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Atlanta. As president of the Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter, Gilmore is helping organize a 'Bulldogs Takeover Atlanta' event, which includes a kickoff pep rally, scholarship golf tournament, and game-day activities.

Gilmore credits AAMU for providing him with a strong academic foundation and opportunities to develop beyond the classroom. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering with a minor in computer science and was heavily involved in campus life, serving as SGA president and participating in various organizations.

Today, Gilmore works as a technical product manager at Microsoft, focused on artificial intelligence and cloud-based software programs. He believes that AAMU prepared him to solve complex problems, which has been essential in his career.
