AAPL Stock Holds Steady Amid Market Volatility
Apple's stock (AAPL) has been resilient in recent trading sessions compared to other tech stocks, with its value up by 14% year-to-date. One reason for this stability is Apple's lower exposure to high capital spending on AI infrastructure, which has affected companies like Alphabet (GOOGL), Amazon (AMZN), and Microsoft (MSFT). Another factor contributing to the company's performance is strong iPhone demand and growth in its services business.
Wall Street analysts are cautiously optimistic about Apple's prospects. Evercore analyst Amit Daryanani highlighted that the recent launch of refreshed Mac mini models, featuring M6 and M5 Pro chips, comes with higher starting prices. However, he believes these price hikes justify the premium due to enhanced AI performance, more powerful chips, and better memory bandwidth.
BofA Securities analyst Wamsi Mohan also has a Buy rating on AAPL stock, expecting Apple's core strategy to remain unchanged under incoming CEO John Ternus. He is bullish on the company's growth prospects from new products and markets, particularly AI-powered devices driving productivity.
