Aaron Massari, Beloved Community Member, Passes Away at Age 72

Aaron Alan Massari, a 72-year-old resident of Brattleboro, Vermont, passed away on September 5, 2026, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. He was born in Readsboro, Vermont, on April 2, 1954, to Silvano Cesare Massari and Jean Edith (Hubley) Massari.

Aaron was a dedicated member of the community, having served as an EMT for Deerfield Valley Rescue for many years. He also worked at Sprague Electric Co., operated his own carpentry business, On the Side, and had stints at Home Depot and Mt. Snow Resort.

Aaron's family and friends remembered him fondly, noting that he enjoyed flying his drone and sharing stories with those around him. His pet Macaw, Jake, who was by his side for 35 years, is also being mourned.
