ABC Commissary Menu Changes Under Fire from Disney Fans
The ABC Commissary in Disney's Hollywood Studios has undergone some changes to its menu, and visitors are not happy about it. The restaurant is themed after a production studio cafeteria from the past, with memorabilia adorning the building.
Inside, you'll find plenty of seating options, as well as a decent variety of menu items, including adult entrees, sides, and desserts. However, some fans are disappointed by the changes to the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich, which they feel has been toned down to appeal to tourists.
The new version lacks flavor and heat compared to its predecessor, which was loaded with filling that would spill out of the sandwich. The addition of shoestring fries is a welcome change, but even these can become cold and soggy quickly.
On the other hand, the Pork Carnitas Tacos are a highlight, with juicy, well-seasoned pork carnitas as the star of the dish. However, the sides, including Mexican rice and black beans, are somewhat disappointing.
