ACC Student Represents College at Walt Disney World
Chloe Williams, an Alamance County native, is proudly representing Alamance Community College (ACC) at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The Business Administration student chose to display her college affiliation on her name tag, highlighting the positive experiences and support she has found at ACC throughout her educational journey.
Williams' connection to ACC began before she graduated from Southern Alamance High School. She enrolled through the Career and College Promise program during her junior and senior years after guidance counselors encouraged students to take advantage of the opportunity. Her most of her ACC courses were online, allowing her to begin earning college credits while balancing academics and varsity cross-country, swimming, and track.
After high school, Williams enrolled at a four-year university in North Carolina. The experience helped her recognize what she valued most in a college: flexibility, personal attention, and a supportive learning environment. Having already taken classes through ACC, she found that the College offered the experience that best met her needs.
Williams ultimately chose to leave the four-year institution and return to ACC. The College's online courses allowed her to continue exploring her career interests and making progress toward her degree without putting her education on hold. She credits her experience at ACC with helping her strengthen the time-management skills she uses to balance work and school.
