Adaptive Brand Experience: DJ Alok's AI-Powered Music Video Experiment
Rise New York & Partners collaborated with DJ Alok to create an adaptive music video for WAAW by Alok, a line of premium headphones and speakers. The goal was to turn a product purchase into an exclusive, personalized music video using AI-powered tools.
The agency began with human authorship, creating one official film defined by Alok's music, Brazilian illustrator Rogério Puhl's pop-art style, and deliberate human intention. They then built a multiproduct digital ecosystem that weaves personal choices into the film.
The system used Google Maps API to detect local environments, Google Weather API to adapt lighting and weather, and YouTube & Trends feeds to ensure aesthetic styles remained culturally relevant. Vertex AI & Veo generated high-fidelity video clips by merging fan context with official art.
A 10-person team tested the system over 16 weeks using 50 controlled Beat Profiles across four countries. Of 23,234 total candidate outputs, 4,320 (18.6%) cleared the Artistic DNA Gate. The remaining 81.4% were rejected or returned for further generation and refinement.
