ADL Affiliate JLens Unveils Workplace Tracker for Jewish Employee Support

JLens, an investment network affiliated with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), has released a 'Workplace Tracker' to evaluate major corporations based on their support for Jewish employees. The tool assesses 14 metrics across three categories: 'Jewish experience in the workplace,' 'religious accommodations,' and 'workplace protections.' The tracker focuses on the 100 largest public companies by market capitalization.

Amazon, Spotify, and Pfizer received 'Gold' ratings, while Meta, Microsoft, and Thermo Fisher Scientific took home 'Silver' ratings. Companies like Apple, Citigroup, Netflix, and American Express were placed in the lowest tier due to their lack of support for Jewish employees, including providing paid time off for Jewish holy days.

JLens managing director Ari Hoffnung stated that asking for religious accommodations is not easy for new employees, especially when they are unsure if they can request such accommodations. The Workplace Tracker aims to provide a transparent and data-driven framework for understanding how companies support Jewish employees and address antisemitism in the workplace.
