AEC Secures Contract Extension with Boeing on 787 Dreamliner Composite Components

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) has secured a contract extension to continue manufacturing composite fuselage frames for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. Under the agreement, AEC will produce about 300 unique composite fuselage frames, including forward sections 41 and 43 and aft section 47.

AEC has been producing these components since 2014, and this contract extension represents a continuation of their successful partnership with Boeing. 'We are excited to continue this partnership, built over more than a decade of successful collaboration,' said Chris Stone, president of AEC.
