AerFin Bolsters Boeing 777 Inventory Amid Supply Chain Pressures
AerFin has significantly boosted its inventory of Boeing 777 components at its Miami facility in response to growing demand from operators and MRO providers across North and Latin America. The company's expansion into widebody aircraft is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the aftermarket.
The additional inventory will provide customers with faster access to 777 material, helping to mitigate lead times exacerbated by supply chain constraints and rising maintenance needs. Since 2021, AerFin has acquired 179 whole assets, including 64 airframes and 115 engines.
Jacqueline Fernandez, senior vice president Americas at AerFin, emphasized the importance of dependable access to material for operators in the region: 'The Americas remains a key market for widebody operations, and operators need dependable access to material to keep aircraft available and costs under control.'
The company's investment reflects both current demand and long-term market confidence in the 777 platform. James Bennett, chief commercial officer at AerFin, stated that by building inventory and positioning it close to customers, they can provide quality material faster while offering flexibility and support.
