Aerospace MRO Sector Sees Growth and Innovation with New Partnerships and Approvals
Yingling Aviation's growth from a Caravan project to a busy multimillion-dollar business over its 22-year history is a testament to innovation and adaptability in the aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry.
The company has expanded its services to include MRO work for various aircraft types, including the Epic E1000 turboprop. Stevens Aerospace has joined the Epic Aircraft Service Network, offering MRO services for this particular model at their Denver location.
In other developments, Textron's service centers in Australia have received regulatory approval, while C&L Aerospace was selected by OEM Héroux-Devtek to perform Challenger flutter damper maintenance. Duncan Aviation has been authorized for Honeywell APU repairs, with work expected to begin at their Lincoln facility in early 2027.
Western Aircraft completed the first Falcon 8X 1C inspection, a requirement every 96 months or 4,000 cycles. Avcon's expertise in modifying airframes was put to use in a Florida mosquito control effort, where they delivered an aerial weapon system.
