AFT Union Reaches Privacy Agreement with Microsoft After Hacking Incident
A Cyber Safety Review Board report detailed lapses by Microsoft that led to a targeted Chinese hack last year of top U.S. government officials' email, including Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo's.
The review board was created in 2021 by executive order and is led by Homeland Security.
A privacy agreement has been reached between the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) union and Microsoft to protect teachers' data and prevent such breaches in the future.
