Agentic AI Drives Enterprise Infrastructure Upgrade Cycle
A report from Google Cloud says that agentic AI systems are pushing enterprises to upgrade their infrastructure. The survey found that 83% of organizations believe their current infrastructure needs some level of upgrade to support production-grade agentic AI systems.
The report highlights the unique demands of agentic AI, which require infrastructure that can provide access to multiple data sources while supporting continuous execution, security, and governance. Agentic prompts can initiate hundreds of downstream actions as agents independently browse, query, and execute across multiple systems.
Google Cloud's VP of product management, Nirav Mehta, said the report is a 'roadmap for establishing the new standard for production-grade autonomous systems.'
