AGI Sees 3% Growth in Net Income to P16B in H1 2026
Alliance Global Group Inc., led by tycoon Andrew Tan's conglomerate, reported a 3% increase in net income to P16 billion in the first half of 2026.
The company's consolidated revenues also grew 3% to P90 billion, excluding a one-time gain from deconsolidation of Golden Arches Development Corp or McDonald's Philippines last year.
AGI's portfolio spans real estate development through property giant Megaworld Corporation; spirits manufacturing through Emperador Inc.; leisure, entertainment, and hospitality through Travellers International Hotel Group Inc.; and quick-service restaurants through its interest in Golden Arches.
'In a demanding global environment, the strength of this Group is its mix,' said Kevin Tan, president and CEO of AGI. 'Our recurring property income kept compounding, our gaming business grew earnings even as the industry moved away from VIP play, and our spirits continued to grow on a stronger portfolio.'
AGI enters the second half with real momentum in its highest-quality businesses and a balance sheet built to support its growth plans.
