AI Boom Drives Revenue Growth for Marvell and Nvidia
The artificial intelligence sector has been driving significant growth for two major players in the field: Marvell Technology and Nvidia. Both companies have seen their revenue trend upward over the past year, with Nvidia's sales accelerating at a rapid pace.
Nvidia's revenue has exploded, growing from $30 billion to $81.6 billion between Q3 2024 and Q2 2026, respectively. The company's EBIT margin reached 66% in the quarter ended April 26, 2026. This growth can be attributed to Nvidia's central role in the AI ecosystem, with customers rapidly adopting its semiconductor solutions.
Marvell Technology, on the other hand, has seen a more modest increase in revenue, growing from $1.3 billion to $2.4 billion between Q3 2024 and Q2 2026. While Marvell's sales are lower than Nvidia's, they have been consistently increasing, indicating demand for its data infrastructure semiconductor solutions.
The Japanese government's partnership with Nvidia to launch the world's first national infrastructure dedicated to AI is a testament to the company's dominance in the field. Meanwhile, Marvell's stock soared to a 52-week high of $329.88 in June after it was added to the S&P 500 index.
