AI Boom Next Winners: Networking Companies to Watch
Nvidia's AI boom success story is well-documented, but two other companies have quietly matched its growth. Micron and Sandisk are up over 1,000% since the AI infrastructure demand exploded in January 2023.
Micron's memory chips and storage solutions are currently the biggest bottleneck in the industry, according to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. This has driven their stock prices up by 1,690% since January 2023, while Sandisk has seen a staggering 3,860% increase after being spun off from Western Digital in 2025.
Looking ahead, Wall Street analysts think networking companies like Astera Labs and Arista Networks will be the next big winners. These two companies are already showing impressive growth, with Astera reporting a 104% revenue increase to $392 million in the second quarter, and Arista's revenue growing 38% to $3 billion.
Astera designs semiconductors and software that connect primary compute chips to peripheral components, while Arista leads the market with its high-speed Ethernet switches. With Wall Street estimating Astera's adjusted earnings will grow at 52% annually through 2027, it may be worth considering a small position in this company.
