Micro1 Inc., an AI startup, is attempting to acquire Spirit Aviation Holdings' business records from Google LLC for $12.5 million.

The records in question include 500 million Microsoft Team items, 100 million emails, and roughly 16 million customer chat sessions among other internal information produced before Spirit went out-of-business this year.

Google had previously bid on the same records but micro1 is now attempting to outbid them. The court filing from Thursday did not specify why Google's bid was rejected.
