Alberta Investment Management Corp (AIMCo) has invested in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) by purchasing 230,000 shares worth approximately $77.8 million in the second quarter.

This is according to AIMCo's most recent 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Other institutional investors have also made changes to their positions in AXP, including Brighton Jones LLC, Sivia Capital Partners LLC, Schnieders Capital Management LLC, Howland Capital Management LLC, and HUB Investment Partners LLC.
