Air Force Awards Boeing $131 Billion Contract for F-15 Jet Upgrades

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing a massive contract worth up to $131.23 billion to produce, upgrade, and sustain the F-15 Eagle fleet through August 2037.

The contract, known as Eagle Crest, is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity vehicle, which means that the total amount is a spending ceiling rather than a firm order.

Boeing will perform work in St. Louis, Missouri, and the scope covers aircraft production, systems integration, modernization, retrofits, sustainment, and the establishment of organic depot maintenance.

The contract includes seven allied operators: Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Poland.
