Air India Expands Canada Service with New Toronto-Mumbai Route
Air India is expanding its Canadian network by launching a new non-stop route between Toronto and Mumbai, while introducing upgraded aircraft on flights between Toronto and Delhi.
The airline will operate three-times-weekly seasonal service between Toronto and Mumbai starting from October 25, 2026, through March 26, 2027. This new route will add nearly 2,000 seats each week between Canada and India.
Air India is also upgrading its Toronto-Delhi flights with brand-new Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which feature latest onboard experience for Canadian travellers. The airline says it has begun deploying these aircraft on Toronto-Delhi flights, marking the first time Canadian passengers will have access to Air India's newest cabin products.
The new and refurbished aircraft on Toronto routes will significantly expand the availability of First Class, Business Class, and Premium Economy seats. According to the airline, this is a part of its strategy to put its best foot forward in one of the world's most competitive long-haul markets.
