Air India Unveils Nonstop Mumbai Flight and Upgraded Delhi Route
Air India is set to launch its first-ever nonstop flight from Toronto to Mumbai this winter, marking a significant upgrade for travelers heading between the two cities.
The airline will operate three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using upgraded Boeing B777-300ER aircraft featuring First, Business, and Economy cabins, as well as onboard Wi-Fi.
This move adds nearly 2,000 weekly seats into the Canada-India market, making Air India the only carrier to operate direct flights between Toronto and Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Air India is also introducing its brand-new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the daily AI187/188 Toronto-Delhi service, featuring Business Class suites, Premium Economy seating, refreshed Economy seating, and new in-flight entertainment.
