Air India has upgraded its direct non-stop flights from Amritsar to London and Birmingham by introducing larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The new planes have replaced the smaller Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on these routes, significantly increasing passenger capacity and offering improved amenities.

The Boeing 777-300ER features eight First Class suites with private doors, 40 Business Class beds, and 280 Economy Class seats. This is a substantial increase in premium seating capacity compared to the previous configuration.

Air India has emphasized that this upgrade is aimed at enhancing the travel experience for passengers flying from Amritsar to the UK. The new aircraft also offers onboard Wi-Fi connectivity for the first time on these routes, allowing passengers to stay connected throughout their journey.
