Air Racing Thrills Come to MSFS in October
The National Championship Air Races will make its debut in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on October 13, 2026. This highly anticipated event combines the classic Reno Air Races and the new Roswell Air Races to create a more realistic racing experience than ever before.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator team worked closely with the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) and dozens of pilots and owners to develop authentic recreations of famous racing aircraft, including the Unlimited Class featuring the P-51 Mustang, the T-6 Class featuring the North American T-6 Texan, and the Jet Class featuring the Aero Vodochody L-39.
The event will also include a new STOL Class with an exciting 1 vs. 1 drag-race experience. This addition promises to bring a fresh level of excitement to the racing experience.
