Airbus and Boeing Defy Production Bottlenecks with Rising Deliveries
Airbus and Boeing have reported increased aircraft deliveries despite ongoing production challenges. By September 2026, Airbus had delivered 475 planes to customers, up from 434 in the same period last year.
Boeing also saw a rise in deliveries, with 418 aircraft handed over to airlines and leasing companies by the end of August 2026, compared to 385 units in the same period in 2025.
The European manufacturer Airbus delivered 57 planes to 31 customers in August 2026, down from 67 in July. In contrast, Boeing's deliveries decreased to 51 aircraft in August 2026 from 53 in July.
