Airplane Deliveries Take Off as Boeing Beats Expectations

Boeing and Airbus are finally experiencing a surge in aircraft deliveries after years of production delays and supply chain issues. The pandemic has caused significant disruptions to global air travel, leading to reduced demand for new planes.

According to the latest data from Boeing (NYSE:BA), the company delivered 77 commercial airplanes in July, exceeding expectations. This comes on the back of a strong June performance, where they delivered 83 aircraft.

The improvement is attributed to increased production rates and better supply chain management. However, experts caution that the aviation industry still faces significant challenges, including ongoing travel restrictions and changing consumer behavior.
