Akasa Air Fleet Expands to 42 Aircraft with Latest Boeing Delivery
Akasa Air has expanded its fleet to 42 aircraft with the arrival of its latest Boeing 737 MAX 8-200, VT-YBS. The airline inducted the new plane at Navi Mumbai International Airport on September 1.
This is the airline's eleventh aircraft induction in 2026 and marks another milestone in Akasa Air's growth trajectory. The airline has a firm order for 226 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, with 186 more scheduled for delivery within the next six years.
The new aircraft was delivered from Seattle to Bengaluru via Reykjavik and Cairo. It features Safran Z200 seats that offer improved passenger comfort and convenience.
