Alexa's Deal Alerts: A Game-Changer for Amazon Prime Day Shoppers
Hunting down Amazon Prime Day deals can be exhausting, but there's a way to make it easier. Advanced deal alerts on Alexa's smart speakers notify users of upcoming discounts up to 24 hours in advance.
This feature is available for U.S.-based Prime members with newer Echo devices and includes deals on eligible products from the user's Wish List, shopping cart, or Saved for Later queue.
To turn on deal alerts, open the Alexa mobile app, go to More > Settings > Notifications > Amazon Shopping, then hit Shopping Recommendations and Deal Recommendations. Add desired products to the relevant lists on the Amazon website or app.
When a deal is about to launch, your Echo will light up yellow, and you can ask Alexa for more information by saying 'Alexa, what are my notifications?'
