Aljian Capital Management Purchases New Stake in IBM Shares

Aljian Capital Management LLC has acquired a new position in shares of International Business Machines Corporation (NYSE:IBM) valued at approximately $745,000, according to its most recent 13F filing with the SEC. The institutional investor purchased 2,648 shares of the technology company's stock during the second quarter.

Several other large investors also recently made changes to their positions in IBM. VIRGINIA RETIREMENT SYSTEMS ET Al raised its stake in International Business Machines by 424.6% in the 4th quarter, while Assetmark Inc. boosted its position in the company by 24.8% during the first quarter.

International Business Machines reported a quarterly earnings per share of $2.93, meeting analyst estimates. The technology company also announced a quarterly dividend of $1.69 per share, which will be paid on Thursday, September 10th to investors of record on Monday, August 10th.
