Alker Edges Ahead at Boeing Classic with Strong Saturday Showing

New Zealand's Steven Alker is in prime position to claim his 12th PGA TOUR Champions win and second of the 2026 season after a solid round at the Boeing Classic.

Alker birdied the par-5 18th hole for a four-under-par 68 on Saturday, moving one stroke ahead of Vaughn Taylor into Sunday's final round.

The 55-year-old Alker seeks to become the sixth consecutive international champion at the tournament and has a strong track record in Seattle, where he owns four top-10 finishes and made his sixth career appearance at the Boeing Classic.
