Alphabet's Q2 earnings report has triggered a post-earnings rebound in the stock, which is now up 5.95% since the July 22 filing. The market seems to be catching up with the numbers already on the page.

The company operates Google Search, YouTube, Google Cloud, and the Gemini AI model family. Q2 revenue reached $119.796 billion, a 24.23% year-over-year increase, with reported EPS of $9.11 against a $3.0427 consensus.

Google Cloud grew 82% to $24.768 billion, with a backlog of $514 billion and operating margin expanding to 35.6%. The proprietary TPU stack is seen as the structural edge for Alphabet, providing a unit-cost advantage for inference that GPU-dependent rivals cannot replicate at scale.
