Alvarez & Marsal Bolsters Private Equity Practice with Supply Chain Expert

Alvarez & Marsal has strengthened its European private equity practice by appointing Maureen O'Shea as a Managing Director in its Private Equity Performance Improvement practice.

O'Shea brings nearly three decades of industry and consulting experience across supply chain, operations, and transformation to her new role based in London. She will work across Europe as part of the firm's Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement team.

O'Shea is a chemical engineer by training and has held various operational supply chain leadership roles, including 16 years at Procter & Gamble and four years at Merck. In her previous consulting roles, she advised organisations on complex supply chain and operational transformations at EY and KPMG before joining Baringa in 2022.

At Alvarez & Marsal, O'Shea will advise private equity firms and portfolio company management teams on supply-chain and operational value creation. She will support clients in leveraging AI and advanced analytics to deliver operational and supply chain improvements, including network and logistics optimisation, cost and working-capital improvement, digital transformation, organisational effectiveness, planning optimisation, and supply-chain resilience.
