Amazon Boosts Sterling Bond Sale to £4.25 Billion Amid Slightly Slowing Orders
Amazon.com Inc. is making its debut in the sterling bond market, seeking to raise at least £3 billion from a four-part deal.
The company has increased the size of the issue even as investor orders slowed slightly, with bids standing at over £11.65 billion, down from more than £12 billion earlier.
Pricing for the bonds had already been tightened to 53 basis points over UK gilts for the shortest three-year tranche and to 93 basis points for the longest, according to a person familiar with the matter.
