Amazon Builds New School Facility in Telangana
Amazon has inaugurated a new Mandal Parishad Primary School and Pre-Primary Center in Peddaveedu, Rangareddy district, Telangana. The facility will serve over 200 students and includes modern educational infrastructure such as five classrooms, an administrative room, toilet block, playground, dining hall, and digital library.
The previous school facilities were located one kilometer away from the village, causing safety and accessibility concerns for young children. The new school is situated within the village premises, eliminating these risks and providing a safe learning environment.
Avinash Dwarapu, Principal, Community Engagement at Amazon, emphasized the company's long-term commitment to community development and education during the inauguration event. He encouraged students to 'Think Big, Learn and Be Curious, Innovate and support each other.'
