Amazon Buys Colorado Land for Massive Distribution Center
Amazon has expanded its presence in Colorado by acquiring 70 acres of land in Aurora for nearly $23.6 million, according to city and county records.
The e-commerce giant bought the parcel at 825 N. Lisbon St. from a company tied to Northpoint Development on August 21st.
A spokesperson confirmed the purchase but refused to provide further details on what the company plans to do with the site.
However, city records show that Amazon intends to transform the land into a massive distribution center spanning approximately 1.2 million square feet.
