Amazon Cargo Plane Crash: Pilot Negligence Blamed for Deadly Accident

The crash of an Amazon cargo plane at Miami International Airport has left behind a trail of devastation and accusations of pilot negligence. The Boeing 767, operated by 21 Air, overran the runway, killing five people on the ground and injuring five others.

Sebastian Torres was among those seriously injured. He was riding in a van that was hit by the plane at the end of his shift, according to attorney Pablo Rojas.

Rojas believes the pilots' actions leading up to the disaster amounted to clear negligence. The pilots were aware they were approaching too fast during the attempted landing and received automatic warnings from the plane, but failed to abort the landing and do a go-around as standard protocol would dictate.
