Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami Airport

An Amazon cargo plane crashed at Miami's airport on Sunday afternoon, September 8, 2026. The plane overshot the runway by a significant 1,300 feet, causing it to slam into a van carrying a cleaning crew and another car before erupting into flames.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the pilots managed to jump out of the plane and ran for his life, describing the scene as 'like watching a movie'.

The crash resulted in the deaths of five people inside the vehicles. Five others were injured.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is currently investigating the incident.
