The incident occurred just before 14:00 local time (19:00 GMT) on an aircraft that had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The plane crashed into several vehicles on the ground, causing damage to nearby property. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but initial reports suggest that the pilot may have been attempting to land the plane despite strong headwinds.
