Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami Airport, Killing Five

An Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767-300 freighter crashed while landing at Miami International Airport on Sunday, killing five people and injuring five others.

The plane, operated by cargo carrier 21 Air, was coming from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when it overran the runway and struck multiple vehicles.

Miami-Dade Fire Chief Ray Jadallah confirmed that five people died in the crash, while two were trapped inside vehicles hit by the aircraft and the pilot and co-pilot were trapped inside the plane.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, but Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said the company was 'heartbroken' by the accident and was working with authorities to investigate.
