Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport
An Amazon cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport on September 6, 2026, killing five people and injuring several others.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash, which occurred when the Boeing 767 overran the runway by about 1,300 feet (396 meters).
According to NTSB Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy, 'it's pretty extensive' and 'hard to see' the damage.
The plane was returning from a flight from Cincinnati to Miami when it crashed around 2 p.m. on Sunday.
