Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport
An Amazon cargo plane crashed on the runway at Miami International Airport in Florida, striking multiple vehicles. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Sunday.
A video obtained by NBC 6 showed the plane skewed sideways from the landing strip with flames and black smoke overhead.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated that Air Flight 7598 overran the runway while landing after departing from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico earlier that day.
A ground stoppage is currently in effect at Miami International Airport as authorities assess the situation and respond to any injuries or casualties.
