Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport

An Amazon cargo plane operated by 21 Air crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday, killing at least five people and injuring five others.

The aircraft, a Boeing 767-300, was attempting to land after departing San Juan, Puerto Rico, when it overran the runway and struck multiple vehicles before catching fire.

A spokesperson for Amazon said they are 'heartbroken' by the incident and are cooperating with local authorities and officials to learn more about what happened.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the crash, which is the latest in a series of fatal accidents involving cargo aircraft operating for Amazon's air cargo network.
