An Amazon cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday, killing at least five people and injuring five others. The Boeing 767 aircraft overran the runway after arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and struck vehicles before bursting into flames.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m., with the plane plowing across a road used by warehouse workers and businesses surrounding the airport. Firefighters responded quickly, using foam to extinguish the complex engine compartment fire, but crews still dealt with a fuel leak hours later.

Miami-Dade County officials reported that five people were killed, three critically injured, and two others hospitalized with less severe injuries. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined, but authorities are investigating.
