Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport
A Boeing 767 cargo plane operated by Amazon's Prime Air crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday, killing five people and injuring five others.
The flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, overshot the runway around 2pm, bursting into flames as it came to rest in a parking lot. The aircraft had been carrying cargo for Amazon when it crashed, with authorities still working to determine what caused the incident.
Aviation experts have suggested that the plane may have landed too fast and too far down the runway to stop in time, with video footage showing the jet wobbling as it approached the runway. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is leading the investigation into the crash.
