An Amazon cargo plane has crashed at Miami International Airport, resulting in five fatalities and five serious injuries. The Boeing 767-300 freighter was being operated for Amazon by 21 Air, a cargo airline headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The plane overran the runway and smashed into cars before bursting into flames, with plumes of black smoke pouring from the aircraft.

Flights were paused at the busy travel hub while emergency services responded to the scene. The cause of the crash has not been determined, but it is unknown if weather played a role in the devastating incident.
