Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport, Five Killed

An Amazon cargo plane operated by 21 Air overran the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, resulting in the loss of five lives.

The Prime Air Flight 7598, a Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft, departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was on its way to Miami when it crashed.

The plane struck multiple vehicles near the airport, with three people critically injured and two others hospitalized with less severe injuries.

Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel expressed the company's condolences, stating 'We're heartbroken to learn that five people lost their lives in today's incident at Miami International Airport.'
