Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport, Multiple Vehicles Struck

An Amazon Prime Air cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday, striking vehicles and bursting into flames. The Boeing 767 aircraft overran the runway after arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, around 2 p.m.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the plane struck multiple vehicles after leaving the runway, causing a large cloud of black smoke to fill the sky. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded quickly, with more than 60 personnel on scene to extinguish the flames and assess patients.

No information was available on injuries or fatalities at the time of the report. The FAA issued a full ground stop at Miami International Airport as emergency crews worked to contain the situation.
