An Amazon cargo plane crashed at Miami International Airport on September 6, 2026, leaving the aircraft severely damaged and partially destroyed. The Boeing 767 was arriving in Miami from San Juan, Puerto Rico around 2 PM when it went down just outside the airport.
The plane appears to have remained largely intact after the crash, but it was visibly scorched with flames and thick black smoke pouring from the wreckage. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, and dispatch audio obtained by TMZ indicates that the plane overran the runway and struck a truck.
