Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes in Miami After Overrunning Runway

A Boeing 767-300 cargo plane operated by Amazon Prime Air overran the runway and crashed at Miami International Airport on Sunday, after departing from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The aircraft struck multiple vehicles on the road, according to local fire rescue. More than 60 members of the Miami Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene as the plane caught on fire.

The airport closed all runways and issued a full ground stop after the incident, which occurred at an unspecified time on Sunday.
