Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes into Vehicles Near Miami International Airport
An Amazon Prime Air plane overshot the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday and crashed into multiple vehicles near the airport.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. when the Boeing 767 cargo jet, which had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, overran the runway and caught fire.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue reported 'heavy flames and smoke' coming from the crash site, with multiple patients being treated on the scene.
A ground stop has been issued at Miami International Airport while first responders assess the situation and gather information.
